Farshid Amin, The renowned lyricist, songwriter, performer, producer and composer, has broken the barriers between Pop Persian and Rock, bringing a new style to the Persian Music scene. His first hit “Nastaran” which came from his all girl named album “Banoo”, brought him to stardom around the globe in the year 2000. Farshid then followed up to “Banoo” with his long anticipated album “Didi Goftam” in 2003. The “Didi Goftam” album was an instantaneous hit with an anthology of 7 tracks all written and produced by Farshid himself. The retro/SMOOTH-POP style that Farshid was slowly but surely developing and making to his own TRADEMARK was delivered by the gorgeous track “Sepideh” and the high energy euro-trance “In Dokhtareh”. Farshid then followed up with a “Remix” album in 2005, a compilation of some of his personal favorites with new mixes and performances. Farshid Amin’s album “Gereftar” is the most paramount. It consists of a set of 8 tracks with the addition of 2 remixes. As a singer and songwriter, Farshid Amin believes that to touch someone through music is one of the most rewarding feelings imaginable.
